This position is based in Ireland.
General job description: Installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Ensures systems operate efficiently and safely, adhering to codes and regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational training or an apprenticeship in HVAC.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA certification for refrigerant handling).
- Proven experience in HVAC installation and service.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, and control systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments (e.g., confined spaces, heights, extreme temperatures).
- Valid driver's license.
