JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client, an environmental services provider is looking to find someone to lead their oil and gas team and develop their project portfolio into the wider energy sector. They require someone dynamic and able to develop the practise and expand it into the wider energy market place.
The role will require you to develop senior contacts and relationships which can be utilised to aid company expansion. This is a strategies position so you will be required to create the business plans that will lead to enhanced company performance. Experience of negotiating terms of business and contracts will also be required as will it be necessary to advise upstream oil & gas clients on important social and environmental issues. Guidance of the ESIA team will also be a strong focus of this position. This position will require you to contribute to the wider company strategies and team development. Travel will be essential.
REQUIREMENTS
Desired experience:
Good EIA /ESIA consultancy experience
Experience in the International Upstream Oil & Gas sector
Knowledge of Equator Principals
Experience of dealing at a senior level with major oil and gas E&P operators
Consulting experience in the following areas will be advantageous; mining, renewables and conventional power generation
A proven and impressive sales track record in the oil & gas sector
A strong track record of directing projects & client management in this consultancy setting
A proven ability to successfully lead, manage and develop teams
A strong network within oil and gas
Degree and or masters in relevant field.
