JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and protection of our client's systems and data sets.

Description

* Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud-based security solutions (RBAC, Site Recovery).
* Collaborate with our MSSP for advanced security needs.
* Conduct basic security assessments and participate in initial phases of penetration testing.
* Oversee incident response and ensure swift resolution to security threats.
* Develop and implement robust cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices for the cloud.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security needs, identify vulnerabilities, and establish risk management protocols.
* Integrate security measures throughout the software development lifecycle and demand management process.
* Maintain security controls and ensure alignment with business/security strategy.

REQUIREMENTS

* 2-5 years of experience in information security or IT security.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; or relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH preferred).
* Strong understanding of Azure security principles.
* Working knowledge of network security, encryption, identity and access management, and threat intelligence.
* Experience with security assessments, basic penetration testing methodologies, and security governance (RBAC).
* Familiarity with firewalls, network security concepts, and Windows Server administration.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to learn and adapt to evolving security threats.
