JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client is one of the world’s leading petroleum brands and they are currently looking to recruit An Instrument Technician, reporting to the Instrument and Electrical Supervisor, to join its Gas Operations team in Sharjah.
Your responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
• Carrying out routine maintenance work and tests on all instrumentation equipment
• Carrying out necessary repair work on instrument equipment
• Diagnosing faults in workshop, carrying out all necessary repairs, tests to specify tolerances, reassembling and checking before reinstalling on site
• Carrying out various calibration tests on all fiscal metering instruments
• Checking and calibrating transmitters
• Checking all fire and gas systems
• Performing annual maintenance checks on major equipment such as gas turbines and chillers
REQUIREMENTS
This is an exciting role which requires only applicants with at least 3 years experience in Instrument Maintenance in an oil and gas process related industry in the UAE. If you are not working in this field or living in the UAE currently, please note we will not be able to process your application.
Our client is seeking a candidate who has completed Secondary education and 3 years formal training in instrument work. You must also have:
• Good command of the English language
• Valid UAE driving license
