The Role

The Intelligence Analytics Executive will be responsible for the coordination, collection, and consolidation of local and regional market estimates. He/ she will provide our brands and business partners the visibility on the market to help us make more informed and data-driven decisions.

The Intelligence Analytics Executive will also ensure a strong collaboration with internal and external (beauty/fashion) business units and partners.

What you'll be doing

- Analyze information on beauty, fashion, and retail market results and trends in the GCC.
- In collaboration with the Intelligence team members, scout and implement new industry intelligence tools and integrate them into team deliverables
- Ensure department efficiency by supporting the team's on-going projects as well as recommend new tools & methodologies for data analysis.
- Support the team with the ongoing requests for the overall market and category deep-dives, markets assessment, and adjacent industries.
- Local and regional market modelling (Omnichannel, B&M and e-Commerce).
- Analyze the performance of the [beauty / fashion] market working with Chalhoub franchise brands, joint ventures, distribution, and external partners.
- Support the consolidation of both regional market estimates and local market estimates (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and Oman).
- Coordinate and follow up with local relays for data collection, ensuring data reliability.
- Coordinate with internal partners for data collection and market insights.
- Assist in data extractions and performance dashboards.
- Support the development of reports.
- Suggest areas of development on regional and local master files and analytical tools.
- Support in the development of market presentations, extract key problematics and insights, adapted to different audiences.
- Support the update of industry figures for corporate presentations and the creation of specific presentations to management and external partners.
- Ensure that Industry tool manuals are fully up to date as well as intelligence documents (distribution lists, retail network...) to support department efficiency and coordination.
- Perform market analysis and observation.
- Undertake specific brands and management ad-hoc requests.
- Conduct ad-hoc research to support selected Group initiatives such as new market studies, benchmarking, etc.
- Support administrative tasks (market visits, minutes of meetings...).

REQUIREMENTS

What you'll need to succeed

The Analytics Executive role is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about numbers, inquisitive, entrepreneurial, and looking to learn and grow in a fast-moving industry.

- You have a minimum of two to three years of relevant experience.
- You possess a University Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or Statistics.
- You are data-driven - comfortable with analyzing and translating data into insights.
- You possess a strong ability to work with a variety of complex data through Excel, Power BI, or Tableau tools.
- You have the ability to turn insights into action through knowledge generation and activation. Data visualization skills are a plus.
- You have the ability to create and deliver impactful presentations for the outcomes of research and analysis.
- You have the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- You have prior experience in business intelligence, business analytics, data analysis, or related fields.
- You have a keen interest in working on Excel and data.
- You are preferably familiar with a scripting language (e. g. Python, R,).
- You have a keen eye for detail, a passion for precision, and correct data management.
- You are a team player, with a flexible mindset.
- You are creative, and motivated, with good presentation and analytical skills.
