Interior Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We have a great opportunity for an Interior Designer to join our client, a successful independent design studio based in Dubai. They carry out high-end residential projects in a variety of styles in numerous countries.

Due to an increase in the number of projects they have taken on they are looking for a creative individual with a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces, with a strong understanding of design principles and trends to join their team.

Working hours:
• Monday to Friday
• 9.00am - 6.00 pm or 8.00am - 5.00pm

The successful Interior Designer will be offered:
• 10,000 AED - 20,000 AED (depending on experience and level of skill)

Key responsibilities:
• Develop design concepts, including spatial design / space planning, elevations, color schemes, and material selections
• Creating presentations, mood boards, designs, tenders and scheme plans.
• Conducting site surveys and take measurements.
• Researching and sourcing suitable materials, suppliers and FF&E.
• Produce spatial design / space planning and elevations
• Understand clients needs and preferences
• Stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in the interior design industry to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the projects

Salary:
AED 10,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:
• MUST already be based in Dubai
• 4 years of experience as an Interior Designer
• UAE driving license and access to own car
• Strong ability to develop design concepts
• Understanding of space planning, furniture design, color theory, and material selection
• Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Degree in Interior Design or related field, such as Design
