JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The Assistant Fashion Merchandiser will demonstrate an understanding of basic eCommerce principles (including analytics tools) and show an interest in Fashion including trends, competitors, and marketing channels. This individual should be curious and have the ability to identify impactful insights to help influence the overall customer experience.
• Execute category merchandising based on customer behavior data, current product performance and inventory liabilities.
• Work within designated merchandising tools to optimize site and app experience
• Leverage website analytics to understand performance and customer interaction with categories, featured product placement, and general online shopping experiences to help identify opportunities to improve and potential risks
• Develop product expertise in assigned areas
REQUIREMENTS
• Highly motivated, resourceful, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Fluency in MS Excel and Office suite
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication – English a must, Arabic(Read & Write)
• Experience in Web Analytics tools (Google Analytics/Omniture) is a bonus.
