JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Kemistry HR is looking for a UAE NATIONAL - Internal Assistant Audit Manager – IT to work for our client a leading property services and development partner with a portfolio of iconic destinations in Dubai.

You will provide independent, objective assurance and advisory activity designed to add value and improve IT operations.

Responsibilities:
- Manage audit staff or outsourced support staff
- Provide leadership for the department, with particular focus over the branch audit function
- Support planning and setting future direction
- Support driving the development of the department’s skill sets and capabilities
- Deliver high quality audits, with particular focus on the IT audit function
- Develop procedures to achieve objectives against a clear assessment of risk
- Supervise the daily activity of auditors assigned on an engagement, with particular oversight of branch auditors
- Prepare clear and concise recommendations for improvement and agree these with management
- Prepare good quality draft and final reports for submission to the Head of Group Internal Audit for approval and publication, with particular responsibility for branch audit reporting
- Ensure follow up of audit recommendations to establish that businesses achieve corrective actions within agreed timescales
- Manage resource requirements in the Internal Audit department, with particular focus on branch audit resourcing, including outsourced support where necessary, and organize scheduling
- Perform consulting on special projects or assignments as required
- Use project management tools to oversee project progress
- Develop Internal Audit staff on the job or through team meetings including giving appraisals and performing training

REQUIREMENTS

We require a UAE NATIONAL with a management consultancy or financial services background and someone who has managed a team and worked closely with Senior Management.
