JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a Family Office, in Dubai. As part of their ongoing commitment to quality and compliance, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Internal Auditor to join their team. This role will include travel to Europe and the US.

This is a stand-alone role, and therefore candidates should have a certain level of maturity to make their own decisions with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Review and evaluate financial, operational, and compliance processes to identify areas for improvement and risk mitigation.
• Develop and implement audit plans and programs based on a thorough understanding of company objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to ensure findings are effectively communicated and addressed.
• Prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans.
• Monitor the implementation of recommendations and follow up on corrective actions.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
• Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in internal auditing.

Requirements:
• Suitable candidates should hold a passport which enables easy travel to Europe and the US.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Accountancy qualification is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing
• Proven experience in writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and checking policies and procedures.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit software.

Salary:
AED 15,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
