JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical Investment Analyst to join our clients team in Dubai. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of the investment process, focusing on strategic investments in the African continent. As an Investment Analyst, you will be responsible for building and maintaining financial models to evaluate potential investment opportunities. You will assist in the due diligence process, working closely with internal teams and external advisors to assess risks and returns. Your role will also involve coordinating with legal, accounting, and technical teams during transaction execution, ensuring a smooth and efficient investment process.
In addition to deal execution, you will play a key role in monitoring the financial and operational performance of portfolio companies. This will involve providing regular updates to senior management, identifying potential areas for improvement, and working alongside company executives to address strategic and operational challenges. You will also lead industry research efforts, staying on top of the latest trends in the oil and gas sector, analyzing key players’ strategic moves, and leveraging research to conduct high-level valuations of oil and gas assets.
Requirements:
A significant part of your role will involve preparing investment memorandums and other key documents for presentation to the investment committee. You will also support fundraising activities by preparing presentations and responding to investor inquiries, helping to shape the company’s growth strategy.We are looking for candidates with strong financial modeling and analytical skills, ideally with experience in investment analysis, private equity, or the oil and gas sector. You should have a deep understanding of due diligence and transaction execution, along with excellent communication skills to engage with investors and executives effectively.
Salary:
AED
20,000 to 30,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
