IT Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

IT Operations

- Provide technical support to staff by troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues.

- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.

- Assist in managing network systems, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

- Support the setup and management of email accounts and servers.

- Assist in ensuring data backup, security, and privacy compliance.

- Help maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.

- Provide support for hardware repairs and software updates.

- Assist with training users on new technologies and software tools.

- Document IT issues and resolutions for future reference.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or relevant certifications.

- Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems, office software, and hardware components.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Basic knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and security tools.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
