JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client, an international law firm, is currently looking for a well experienced IT Helpdesk Specialist to support their UAE operation. In this role, you will be expected to do the following:
• Exceptional telephone and email support to users from all offices globally.
• Handling the variety of walk-in requests to the Service Desk in a professional manner.
• On-site deskside support for the UAE offices
• Excellent incident management; progressing and monitoring through to resolution.
• Audio visual support - meeting room set up and video conferencing support
• Working towards individual and team targets.
• Imaging, installation and setup of PC equipment
• Support of HP printers / MFP devices
• Setup and support of mobile devices
• Create support documentation and knowledge articles for use by the IS team and the business.
• Involvement in ad hoc projects
• Required to join the out-of-hours rota completed on a rotational basis
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
Have strong background in using the following application
• Windows 7
• MS Office 2010 – 2016 including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access
• MS Internet Explorer – IE11
• Skype for Business
• iManage Desksite / Filesite / Worksite 9
• InterAction relationship management system - web and windows client
• Elite practice management system (Webview and Enterprise)
• IntApp Time
• IntApp Wallbuilder
• Workshare 7/8/9 including Deltaview and Protect
• Remote assistance technology eg. VNC
• RSA
Familiar with the following hardware
• iPhone’s/iPad’s
• Wyse Portable terminals
• HP printers
Familiarity with the following associated technologies or platforms
• VMWare Horizon
• Windows 7
• Active Directory
• Zero Client Technology – Samsung
• Mitel IP Phones and Skype for Business
• Video conferencing
• Lifesize and WebEX video conferencing
• Basic TCP/IP troubleshooting
• Avaya network switches
