JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
A vacancy has arisen at a major bank in Dubai for an experience IT Infrastructure Demand Manager, responsible for planning and prioritizing incoming infrastructure demand and aligning technology solutions and resources accordingly.
This role will be working as part of a wider Enterprise Infrastructure Delivery team. They are tasked with initiating, managing, governing and executing IT Infrastructure initiatives and produce the Technology solutions architecture based on the groups Architecture standards, information security and risk polices, quality and according to the best practices, allocated resources, budget and committed timeline.
The role will take full responsibility and accountability for the infrastructure demand in term of forecast, estimates, initial infrastructure requirements management, Enterprise Infrastructure Delivery units resources utilization based on the approved annual and strategic IT roadmap and the emerging initiatives throughout the year.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates should have extensive experience working within a similar role, and should have a broad level of understanding across IT Infrastructure, Network and Security Technology. Due to the size and complexity of the IT Infrastructure at the bank, candidates should have worked within similarly large environments, ideally for organizations serving thousands of users.
Due to the nature of the role, excellent written and verbal English is required, as is strong stakeholder and vendor management experience.
A technical degree is expected, and any industry recognized qualifications will be beneficial.
