Job Title: IT Infrastructure Lead
Salary: Up to AED 4,500 based on experience
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Our Client one of the leading distributors and stockist of Plumbing Solutions and Bathroom Fixtures in the region since 1998. Representing some of the leading manufacturers from GCC, USA, Europe and Asia, they supply the GCC, Middle East and Africa with an extensive client base. An opportunity awaits an experienced IT Infrastructure Lead within a large distribution organization to join the team.
Key role, reporting to the General Manager, is to optimise technology infrastructure in the business?
Responsibilities
- Maintain daily / high up time on ERP server, file server and the network
- Manage daily backup of data and ERP as well as weekly and monthly backup of ERP
- Remote desktop support via Team Viewer as and when required
- Software license maintenance including Antivirus, E-mail filters, and other business essential software
- Procurement of IT software and hardware and related processes
- Server updates and management
- ERP User Maintenance and Web Updates
- ERP Data Maintenance, Document Management, Report Design and shaping the ERP for a range of business needs
- Training current and new users on the IT infrastructure
- Pursuing management projects in IT
- Design robust IT and network infrastructure and making recommendations to management
- Providing weekly reports to management
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems / Information Technology
- Certifications in IT Infrastructure Management such as MCSE, CCNP would be an advantage
- 3 to 4 years experience as IT Infrastructure Lead
- Understanding of IT infrastructure needs of a large distribution business
- Experience optimising technology infrastructure in businesses similar size before
- Strong understanding of troubleshooting tools, network infrastructure, Microsoft office and Outlook and other tools used in our business
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Added Advantage - Experience working with FACT / FACTS - Have programming skills or project management experience
- Experience working for a building materials distribution would be an advantage
