JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Managing the company and subsidiary companies’ IT Infrastructure
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, telephone systems, networks, applications, database, printers and scanners
• Planning and undertaking regular and scheduled maintenance upgrades
• Conducting regular health checks on computer equipment and PC
• Arranging for system daily backup and archiving
• Responding to breakdowns
• Setting up new users' accounts and profiles, configuring passwords and dealing with password issues
• Close collaboration with vendors and computer users to determine the nature of any problems
• Troubleshooting system and network problems
• Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults
• Obtaining replacement or specialist components or fixtures
• Managing stocks of various office equipment, when needed replacing old printers or other hardware in the entire office
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Testing and evaluating new applications and software
• Supporting various applications implemented in the entire organization (Risk Management, Trading - Aspect, Accounts - Tally, Office 365, Faxing, Printers to name a few)
• Providing technical and functional support
• Managing Security Audit and other security projects
• Providing remote accesses support
• Preparing annual reports on IT expenses for all subsidiary companies
• Documenting and maintaining current inventory of IT assets used by all users on on-going basis
• Writing IT Policies and Procedures
• Training employees on new IT Polities and Procedures
Essential skills & Job requirements:
• Configure and optimize VMware technologies
• Configure and Manage Server and network devices
• Excellent knowledge of server maintenance tasks - active directory and exchange user accounts
• Experience in troubleshooting desktop level issue
• Possesses strong ICT skills expected of this post
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems (Windows 7/8, Server 2008/2012)
• Ability to provide support to users of MS Office Professional desktop applications.
REQUIREMENTS
• Experience of providing support within a Microsoft Windows 2008/2012 server and Active Directory network infrastructure
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills including the ability to present information accurately and concisely, verbally and in writing
• High team integrity and willingness to share information in order to educate all employees
• Ability to work on several projects at the same time and to prioritize effectively
• Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science, or related field preferred
• Microsoft Certification, VMware Certified, ITIL Certified
