IT Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

As a Delivery / IT Project Manager you will be responsible for orchestrating the successful implementation of our various projects. You'll lead cross-functional teams, manage project lifecycles, and ensure seamless delivery of our products to clients.

Your expertise in project management methodologies and your ability to navigate complex financial technology landscapes will be crucial in driving our projects to successful completion.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
• Plan, lead, organize, and control projects in accordance with approved scope and schedule, ensuring alignment with internal strategy and client needs
• Create and execute comprehensive project scopes and work plans, monitoring and maintaining project schedules to meet critical milestones and deadlines
• Identify, log, and manage potential issues and risks specific to projects implementations, developing and executing mitigation plans and actions
• Anticipate and address challenges that delivery teams may face, leveraging resources effectively to drive high-quality execution of embedded lending projects
• Manage and coordinate 3rd party vendors involved in the project, ensuring seamless integration with our embedded lending ecosystem
• Take responsibility for all documentation and tracking of project deliverables, maintaining clear communication channels with all stakeholders
• Prepare detailed status reports for management, clients, project personnel, and other stakeholders, modifying schedules or plans as required to adapt to the dynamic fintech environment

Requirements:

Skills & Qualifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide teams in a matrix structure within a fast-paced fintech environment
• Proven experience in change management, particularly in the context of implementing new financial technologies
• Exceptional decision-making abilities and a structured approach to risk management in financial product delivery
• Advanced problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset, focused on delivering embedded lending solutions efficiently
• Commitment to process excellence and quality focus, ensuring the highest standards in financial product implementation
• Proficiency in conflict management and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships in the fintech space

Knowledge & Experience
• Extensive project management experience covering both waterfall and agile/scrum models, with a focus on fintech or financial services projects
• At least 6 + years of experience in delivering complex technology projects, preferably in the payments industry
• Proven track record of successfully leading teams in a matrix structure within financial services or technology sectors
• Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications) is highly desirable

Salary:
AED 25,000 to 28,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
