JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Establishes network specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, Information, and Security Requirement.
• Network design by preparing network infrastructure, preparing diagrams.
• Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation, Identify and thoroughly understand a relevant business problem, issue or goal.
• Develop business architecture using requirements such as Scope, Processes alternatives, and risk.
• Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performed tuning, troubleshooting network problems, escalating Problems to vendor
• Managed to procurement process for IT Material and identify specification through creating comparison sheets, contacting with the vendors.
• Fiber Optic Terminations, splicing experience (Single mode, multimode) connection.
• Design and supervise Cable pulling between site Offices.
• Following up with IT vendors and suppliers for all kind of support and monitoring duration, Validation of contracts which signed between CCC and Vendors.
• Presenting reports to management on weekly basis.
• Working with Active Directory and creating users/groups as required. Supporting a domain with 1000 computers/users.
• Installing, configuring and monitoring up to 13 servers created in Server Room.
• Complete Setup for Server Room as per required standards.
• Maintaining data storage, availability and backup integrity by installing Backup Exec 2010 by preparing a daily, monthly and quarterly backup.
• Identifying Network problems and recommends solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor degree in Information Technology / Computer Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate / Systems Administrator certification (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert / Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification.
Experience
• Minimum of 2 to 3years of experience as a Desktop Support Engineer role or in an IT Support role (Middle East experience preferable)
• Experience in supporting IT Services as per ITIL Service Management Standards.
• Extensive experience in handling incidents related to Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office application suite.
• Experience in troubleshooting network (LAN, WAN and WLAN) incidents and liaising with Internet Service Providers
• (ISPs) for network incidents resolution.
• Experience within a Multinational company.
Knowledge and Skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and confident in communicating with people across all levels within the company.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines on assigned projects.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Self-starter and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to handle confidential information in strict confidence.
• Ability to work in a fluid, diverse and fast paced work environment.
