JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
IT Technician - Cove Beach Club - Dubai
- Manage the maintenance of hardware/software including photocopiers, printers & the telephone system.
- Provide network communications support and technical guidance.
- Administration and maintenance of SQL server, oracle server, windows server.
- Administration and maintenance of global network, proxy server, firewall, router.
- Administration and maintenance of local network, e-mail system, internet and intranet.
- Liaison with IT vendors on all system support issues.
- Troubleshooting and backup.
- End user support.
- Administration of user privileges.
- Maintenance of the anti-virus system.
REQUIREMENTS
- A graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in IT
- Experienced with a minimum of 3 / 5 years experience in a similar role
- Proficient in LAN/WAN designs and technology implementation
- Skilled in installation and configuration of PCs, printers and peripheral devices.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with staff at all levels
- Able to meet deadlines and think ahead so the necessary steps are taken
