Junior Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and record all business transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements and other financial documents.
• Maintain accurate database and records of financial transactions, including journal entries and general ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and other financial reports.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly/yearly closing.
• Respond to internal and external queries related to accounting and finance matters.
• Follow up with customers for collection of receivable amounts.
• Support other accounting tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors.

Salary:
AED 3,000 to 3,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
• Proficiency in Tally, ERP and accounting computer applications
• Well versed in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
