Junior Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing our company's financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The Junior Accountant will also play a key role in preparing financial reports and analyzing financial data to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with regulations. Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the day-to-day financial transactions of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents with a high degree of accuracy
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
- Support the senior accounting team in analyzing financial data and identifying areas for improvement in financial processes and procedures
- Help ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team

Salary:
AED 3,000 to 4,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
