JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Job Description

This is an entry level to Client Partner Executive role. The candidate will be working with senior client partner executives responsible for leading an account team in delivering a solution to the customer using the appropriate business measurements. The purpose of this is role is to provide necessary experience and education to prepare for a role as a certified client partner executive.

Client partner executives construct partnerships between clients, IBM teams, vendors, and subcontractor organizations and manage the implementation of these partnerships to address business opportunities. They have equally balanced skills in five key general management areas of client relationship management, consultative selling, financial/business management, portfolio/ program management and team/people management.

They are also required to grow the account through follow on sales of current offerings. It requires personal characteristics which include:

- Self-Motivation
- Candidate will be expected to build long term professional relationships; manage customer satisfaction and possess the technical ability to help develop business solutions.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills is required.

REQUIREMENTS

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

- 2 - 3 years of experience in client relationship management and consultative selling.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in portfolio / program management
- Project Management skills
- Contractual and commercial insights
