JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The data scientist is responsible for extracting actionable insights from complex data sets to drive informed decision-making and innovation, the role will be working with different technology providers to develop AI products leveraging advanced analytics, including machine learning and predictive modelling.

Qualification and Experience:
• Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in Data Science or ML Engineer
• Experience in Data Science Libraries is a plus
• Experience with Cloud Technologies is a plus
Requirements:
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:Data Collection and Processing
• Collaborate with stakeholders within or outside DGE to identify, collect, and preprocess data from diverse sources, ensuring its readiness for analysis
• Implement reusable data cleaning processes, leveraging diverse data architectures and tools to enhance efficiency AI Model Development and Deployment
• Develop, build, and evaluate machine learning models to extract actionable insights and predictions that drive decision-making
• Apply performance metrics, hypothesis testing, and cross-validation techniques to ensure model accuracy and effectiveness
• Quantify relationships between variables and utilize these insights to inform model development and decision-making processes
• Ensure that AI models developed for AI products are aligned with established AI ethical principles
• Participate in ethical review processes to ensure models adhere to responsible AI standards
• Conduct AI Model testing against defined acceptance criteria
• Work closely with ML engineers and ML Ops specialists to deploy machine learning models into production environments for various AI products
• Collaborate on the continuous monitoring, optimization, and updating of deployed models to maintain their relevance and effectiveness
• Engage in iterative development processes, using feedback loops to refine models and AI solutions
Analysis and Visualization
• Employ advanced analytical and AI methods, and apply visualization techniques to showcase patterns, trends, and insights
• Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders through clear and compelling visualizations and reports
