JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
A western managed design and build fit out company has an excellent opportunity for professionals looking for career growth.
Your responsibilities will consist of (not limited to):
> Researching initial precedent images, materials and FF&E based on direction given
> Assembling fabric and finish palettes
> Obtaining quotes and creating/maintaining budgets
> Writing FFE and finish specs, as well as finish schedules
> Writing proposals, purchase orders and invoices
> Coordinating details with vendors (fabrics, furniture, scheduling)
> Creating presentation boards and materials (rendered elevations, mock-ups)
> CAD furniture plans
> Coordinating shipping & storage of items
> Maintaining project binders & organization
REQUIREMENTS
> Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field
> Strong time management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
> Concise and articulate written and verbal communication and presentation skills
> Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
> Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines
> Proficient in AutoCAD, Design Manager, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Bridge), Microsoft Office Suite
> Experience with Rhino, Inventor, Sketchup, 3D Max and Revit a plus
