JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.
• Coordinate work with other disciplines such as architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
• Full responsibility for the accuracy of structural drawings and Design.
• Fully conversant and proficient in structural design software including ETABS, Safe, SAP, Prokon, STAAD Pro etc.
• Excellent knowledge of local regulations, professional and international codes, and standards such as ACI, ASCE, IBC, AISC, BS, and Dubai Building Code.
Requirements:
• 2 to 3 years of industry experience working in a consultancy firm• Experience from construction of residential villas, buildings G+4 to 8 story and experience working in consultancy firm is preferred.
• Fully conversant and proficient in structural design software including ETABS, Safe, SAP, Prokon, STAAD Pro etc.
• Excellent knowledge of local regulations, professional and international codes, and standards such as ACI, ASCE, IBC, AISC, BS, and Dubai Building Code.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in civil / Structural Engineering
