JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• Develop, manage, and optimize budgets for WETEX and DSS, and other events.
• Implement cost-effective strategies to maximize ROI while meeting financial targets.
• Drive sales strategies and meet/exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for WETEX and DSS. Foster relationships with key stakeholders to secure sponsorships and exhibitors.
• Develop and execute benchmarking exercises to evaluate the performance of our events against industry standards.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Engage with government agencies and entities to secure support, partnerships, and participation in our events.
• Navigate governmental regulations and policies to ensure event compliance.
• Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with industry associations, corporations, and other key players.
• Cultivate long-term relationships to enhance the profile and impact of our events.
• Facilitate business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) interactions at our events.
• Create opportunities for networking and collaboration between participants.
• Oversee all logistical aspects of event planning, including exhibitor coordination, venue selection, and on-site management.
• Ensure seamless execution of events to guarantee a positive experience for participants.
• Plan and execute conferences and seminars in conjunction with WETEX and DSS, and other events.
• Attract prominent speakers and create compelling agendas.
• Develop and manage international road shows to promote our events and programs globally. Coordinate with relevant partners and agencies for successful road shows.
• Lead and contribute to adhoc special projects that contribute to the growth and success of our events and organization.
• Monitor and Support Floor management during the buildup, open period and breakdown of the show and fulfilling the requirements of the exhibitors.
• Handle exhibitor / visitor / prospect correspondence and enquiries at the exhibition.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor in Business Administration/ Marketing or equivalent
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in Exhibition Management, Marketing & Sales
• Based in the UAE
• 12 Month Contract
• Ready to join immediately or within one month
