JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Responsibilities:
·Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in English and Arabic, incorporating songs, stories, play-based learning, and interactive activities to support language development.
·Focus on building children’s listening, speaking, reading, and early writing skills in both languages, while fostering overall cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
·Create a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
·Monitor and assess children’s progress in both languages, maintaining detailed records and sharing feedback with parents and nursery management.
·Work closely with other teachers and support staff to ensure smooth integration of English and Arabic learning in daily routines.
·Engage parents through regular updates, parent-teacher meetings, and guidance on supporting bilingual development at home.
·Stay updated on best practices in early childhood bilingual education through continuous learning and professional development
Requirements:
·Fluency in both English·Previous experience teaching young children in a nursery, kindergarten, or early years setting is highly desirable.
·Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework or similar early childhood education standards.
·Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Arabic Language, or Early Childhood Education (required) or CACHE Level 3 or equivalent are preferred.
·Patience, creativity, and adaptability to cater to diverse learning styles and individual needs.
·Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and families.
Salary:
AED
10,000 to 14,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
