Description
Apt Resources is seeking a skilled kitchen technician to join a dynamic team that supports a group of Western restaurants. This role is crucial for ensuring that all kitchen equipment is maintained in optimal condition, allowing for efficient operations and a high-quality dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on kitchen equipment, including ovens, mixers, grills, and refrigeration units.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen tools and machinery to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Diagnose equipment issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to schedule repairs and maintenance to minimize disruption.
- Maintain an organized inventory of tools, parts, and supplies required for repairs.
- Keep maintenance records and reports for all equipment serviced.
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures while performing maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a kitchen technician or in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair various kitchen appliances efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment when necessary.
- Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays, as required.
- Must be currently residing in the UAE.
