JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
GIS Specialist - Government Entity - Up to AED12,000
Our client is looking to secure the services of several entry level Land Grant GIS Specialists who will be responsible for handling the reviews of land grant applications, progress and award. You will be expected to be very methodical and organised in administration but also technically astute with ability to read and interpret land descriptions, maps, and other GIS-related material.
It is vital to our client that the candidate have excellent fluency in both Arabic and English language skills.
- Reviewing land grant applications, providing project management of land grant awards monitoring land grant progress, and closing-out land grants
- Review GIS and Urban planning maps to identify availability of lands to be granted to the client
- Investigate lands availability status through the GIS system
- Updating the GIS system with data related to grants of land
- Writing reports and documents pertinent to land grants
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree or Diploma in GIS
- Heavy competency of mathematics
- Excellent knowledge and application of IT skills
- Ability to read and interpret land descriptions, maps, and other GIS-related material
- Ability to issue GIS Grant reports in Arabic
- Fluent Arabic and English
