Land Surveyor

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• Conduct land surveys using advanced surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and laser scanners.
• Determine property boundaries, elevations, contours, and other topographic features to guide construction activities.
• Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, maps, and reports detailing survey findings and measurements.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction managers to interpret project specifications and requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of site plans, layouts, and blueprints based on survey data and engineering designs.
• Provide guidance and support to construction crews to ensure accurate implementation of survey data.
• Perform quality control checks to verify the accuracy and reliability of survey measurements.
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to survey data and provide recommendations for resolution.
• Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements in surveying techniques.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others on the construction site.

Salary:
AED 4,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience working as a Land Surveyor, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in surveying instruments and software, including total stations, GPS, and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques, and legal requirements.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
