JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Atkins is seeking a creative, energetic and highly motivated candidate to join our Dubai Team as a Landscape Architect. Under supervision, applies technical professional proficiency to the solution of landscape architectural problems including multi-disciplinary design coordination, collaboration and integration.

Job Duties:

- Manages the design of various projects including day to day coordination with project team members
- Develops and creates high quality and innovative concept designs
- Prepares preliminary and detailed design drawings and documentation including technical specifications and construction detailing
- Selects and recommends landscape materials and palette for hardscape, softscape and site furniture based on local knowledge/experience of materials
- Assists in developing concept and detailed master plan focused on public realm design and strategies
- Ability to manage and execute a project from concept through to construction documentation
- Strong graphics and presentation skills in both hand sketches and digital program/software
- Attend client presentations and meetings including internal team meetings and workshops
- Ability to multi-tasks in a fast-paced working environment

REQUIREMENTS

Skills and Qualifications:

- A degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university
- 3-6 years of working experience in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Master Planning
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in ME
- Strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills
- Strong computer skills (AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Sketch Up, Lumion, Microsoft Office)
- Basic to intermediate skills in Revit is an advantage
