JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
On behalf of our client a Dubai based leading oil and gas operator we are looking to recruit a Lead Contracts Engineer. Reporting to the Contracts Team Lead you will be responsible for providing a high level of understanding of legal and technical issues in order to resolve disputes and complex commercial issues. Be responsible for high value commercial activities including the tendering procedures, change management, contract preparation, negotiation of terms and conditions and provide practical commercial solutions to any claims or disputes.
Salary:
AED
35,000 to 40,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate must be in receipt of a law degree ideally with a post-graduate qualification in contract management, ten years contracts experience in oil and gas, extensive experience in drilling contracts with the ability to prepare and negotiate tenders/contracts for small/medium/large scale projects.
