JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Lead Planning Engineer up to 22K AED for a General Contracting Company in Dubai

- Plans and prepares production schedules for fabrication, instillation, and repair of industrial process systems
- Draws up master/discipline schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet client forecasted master schedule
- Updates client through client accepted/ sponsored software
- Analyzes production specifications and construction data and performs mathematical calculations to determine material, tools, and human resource requirements for the schedule
- Plans and schedules workflow for each craft and operation according to previously established client sequences and lead times
- Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other operations for guidance of construction workers
- Planner/Scheduler confers with Client & Company management to determine status of projects
- Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions

REQUIREMENTS

- POSITION: Lead Planning Engineer
- SALARY: up to 22,000 AED all-inclusive, depending on experience and qualifications
- HIRING COMPANY: General Contracting Company
- WORK LOCATION: Dubai, UAE (Head Office) and a provision of monthly site visits/travels of a minimum of 15 Days to Iraq
- AVAILABILITY: Immediately available will be prioritized
- EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Open to any nationality; Arabic speaker is a plus
- Male, 45 years old and below

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- B.Sc. in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial)
- Minimum 12 years related work experience in planning, scheduling, control and claims preparation, cost control and quality management
- 5 years of GCC experience is a must
- Industry experience should be from EPC/Oil & Gas/Power/Petrochemicals/Infrastructure
- Design & and project experience on large-scale oil/gas and petrochemical capital projects
- Candidate should have sound exposure to Cost Engineering; ideally have a good Claims Management exposure
- PMI-PMP / AACE-PSP or any equivalent certifications are not mandatory but shall be preferred
