Key points

Provides support to the Project Quality Manager in delivering the project quality management system.
Reports to the Project Quality Manager and has a reporting line to the Quality Assurance Discipline Manager.

Roles and responsibilities

Assists with the implementation of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and contract requirements.

With direction, supports the implementation of the project quality requirements in accordance with the PQP and contract.

Supports the implementation of the audit program to monitor adherence and identify improvements to the PQMS, including supplier and subcontractor audits as required.

Monitors and reports to the Project Quality Manager on the effectiveness of the PQMS.

Under direction, uses knowledge and skills to identify deviations from project requirements and ensures that systems and procedures are established to avoid recurrence.

Supports the monitoring of the application and effectiveness of the PQMS.

With support, assists with supplier and subcontractor quality plans and programs for any purchase orders/contracts placed, as applicable.

Supports project quality inductions.

Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices.

May direct resources, prioritize tasks, and provide guidance to less experienced team members.

Depending on scope

Preparation of QA/QC inputs to the RFQs and POs.

Managing the quality input to pre-PO award bid review and clarification activities.

Managing the quality input to supplier documentation review activities.

Facilitating the completion of criticality ratings.

Liaison with systems and fabrication quality manager and subcontractors quality.

Reviewing supplier and subcontractor quality plans and ITPs as required.

Skills and experience

Minimum 10 years quality management experience within the oil and gas industry.

Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Must be proactive and possess good interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Proficient in English and Arabic languages.

Education & qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field.

Professional accreditation preferred.

Successful completion of ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor training or transition course preferred.
