JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Job Description:
Please find below the details of the requirement. We need "Leading Fire Fighters" for Oil & Gas Sector (On Site) across UAE.
• Life rescue, incident mitigation and stabilization
• Risk analysis
• Loss control
• Emergency medical care
• Evacuation for onshore oil and gas activities.
• Apparatus placement, agent selection and application, and tactical decision making to maximize effectiveness and reduce response time.
• Assist in the cleanup and recovery of the incident site and restore the fire appliance and equipment to full readiness for the next emergency.
• Attend fire and other emergencies and undertake rescue, suppression and mitigation activities as appropriate.
• Enhance the safety and effectiveness of responding RLIC Emergency Services by providing sound advice/instructions that are based upon knowledge of plant operations and fire hazards as well as familiarity with industrial fire-fighting practices and limitations.
• Safely and effectively apply cooling water to vessels/equipment subject to flame impingement or radiant heat in areas that are not protected by fixed water spray systems.
• Safely and effectively support rescue or evacuation operations in fire-related and non-fire related emergencies.
• Supervised and assisted in the inspection and preventive maintenance on fire department apparatuses and support vehicles to include tools and equipment
• Take full part in all training determined to maintain incident ground competence and meet FIT trainer cadre requirements.
• Train firefighters in response skills and identify training gaps that need to be met through external sources in order for firefighters to achieve firefighting skills to the standard of NFPA 1081.
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria
• Certificates should be NFPA or equivalent.
• 5 years’ experience, 2 years’ as Firefighter
• NFPA 1001 Firefighter 1+2
• NFPA 1081 Industrial Firefighter
• NFPA 1002 Fire Pump Operator
• NFPA 472 Hazmat Awareness + Operations
• NFPA 1021 Fire Officer 1
• NFPA 1006 Rescue Technician – Confined Space/Rope/Vehicle
• Must have Heavy Vehicle License

• Will be assigned in different locations across UAE
