JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Charterhouse is working with a well renowned legal firm who are looking to hire a Learning & Development Manager to help plan, design and facilitate programs to develop their employees. This role will also include technical training; therefore, our client requires someone with legal experience as well as legal qualifications.
The Learning and Development Manager will work closely with HR to analyse their requirements to design and implement the learning and development strategy which will plan in line with the firms’ objectives. This role will play a substantial part in optimising individual enterprise level performance, support succession planning, whilst supporting managers and employees to enhance both their job performance and career progression.
The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible in leading the learning and development strategy, evaluating and identifying any performance gaps or learning needs for employees within the firm. In addition, providing personalised coaching and mentoring, encouraging continuous support and professional growth. This role will manage and develop the LMS and facilitate and deliver training sessions, as well as tracking and reporting. Furthermore, The Learning and Development Manager will design a range of learning programmes focusing on leadership and technical skills, as well as soft skills training. This role will also evaluate and assess the effectiveness and response of programmes which are developed to ensure increased organisational effectiveness, whilst collaborating with external vendors and consultants to improve training initiatives.
Requirements:
The successful candidate must hold a bachelor’s Degree within a relevant subject, along with experience practicing as a Learning & Development Consultant. Additional professional qualifications within Coaching, SHRM, CIPD is advantageous.Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Learning and Development Manager proficient in developing, designing, and delivering training programs. They should be well-versed in adult learning theories and instructional design principles, and ideally possess an understanding of legal services or have a background in professional services. Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal is a must.
