JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
eMagine is currently working with a leading health-tech company who are looking for a Legal and Compliance Officer.
• Develop and review company policies.
• Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documentation
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Healthcare specialized and general business regulations and laws
• Review the internal compliance issues or concerns within the organization
• Develop and implement necessary strategies to minimize the risk of non-compliance.
• Coordinate with other departments to identify compliance issues and direct them to the right channels for further investigations.
• Organize training programs to enlighten company staff on the benefits and consequences associated with either complying or defying external or internal regulations
• Design schedules and timetables for use in inspecting management practices of their firm
• Elaborate policy details to company management to provide insight and understanding of set laws
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Risk Management, or related field.
• 3 years of experience working as a Compliance Officer, Compliance Associate, or a similar role.
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry’s standards and regulations is preferred
• Knowledge of GDPR, ISO27001, ISO 9001, and HIPAA is a plus
• Experience in Patient Privacy and Data Protection Laws in UAE and KSA
• Knowledge of the telehealth standards and regulations is preferred
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent risk management skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
