JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The Legal Counsel (Real Estate sector) provides legal advice, ensures compliance with laws and regulations, and supports the company’s business activities while safeguarding its legal interests.
General Responsibilities:
- Align actions, decisions, and initiatives with the company’s mission, vision, and values.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standard operating protocols.
- Respect the organizational hierarchy and collaborate effectively with team members and leadership.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Departmental Specialized Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on contracts, litigation, compliance, and intellectual property.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to protect the company’s legal and financial interests.
- Manage legal disputes and coordinate with external counsel when needed.
- Identify legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory standards.
- Advise on business transactions, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Conduct legal due diligence for acquisitions and partnerships.
- Draft and update company policies to ensure legal compliance.
- Oversee litigation cases and represent the company in legal proceedings.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations, advising management on necessary adjustments.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on legal developments.
- Train staff on legal compliance and best practices.
- Protect intellectual property through trademark and patent registration.
- Assist in resolving internal disputes, including employment matters.
- Review and update corporate governance documents in line with industry standards.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB)- 5+ years of legal experience
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Law (LLM)
- Extensive experience in contract law, compliance, and corporate governance
Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of corporate, litigation, and contract law
- Strong negotiation and contract drafting skills
- Ability to identify, manage, and mitigate legal risks
- Expertise in regulatory compliance and corporate governance
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing legal disputes and litigation cases
- Proficiency in legal research and policy updates
- Knowledge of mergers, acquisitions, and business transactions
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Salary:
AED
25,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
