JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Paralegal to join an In-house legal team of an international financial institution with its headquarter based in Abu Dhabi.
The Candidate will be based in Abu Dhabi and reports to the Head of Legal and will support a small team of lawyers who provide a broad range of legal advice related to financial services offered by the Company including Brokerage, Corporate finance, Wealth and Asset Management, OTC derivatives and investment banking.
The role will include:
- Assisting the lawyers with document-based work such as correspondence, drafting emails drafting, amending, marking up and proof reading of commercial and finance contracts.
e.g. NDAs, MoA, SLAs, Service and IT Agreement. ISDAs, margin trading terms.
- Assisting with the liaising and dealing of queries from the business.
- General administrative duties.
- Legal translation experience (English - Arabic).
REQUIREMENTS
- Familiar with standard commercial agreement such as NDAs, MoA, SLAs.
- Familiar with standard finance agreements such as ISDA, GMRA, guarantees.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Exposure to working in an international environment is required.
- Excellent command of English language.
- Arabic language skills (written and oral).
