JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The Licensing Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of business licensing, including registration, issuance, and renewals. The role requires strong expertise in corporate structuring, regulatory compliance, and client onboarding. Additionally, the position involves liaising with UAE government departments, ensuring adherence to legal requirements, and optimising internal licensing processes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist the Licensing Manager with feasibility research for new entity formation and restructuring.
- Manage the end-to-end process of business registration, licensing, and renewals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with UAE government departments and agencies.
- Utilise online portals and apps for efficient licensing processes.
- Provide high-quality client onboarding services within agreed timelines.
- Collaborate with the Finance Team to reconcile licensing-related invoices and expenses.
- Develop and update internal and external licensing policies and procedures.
- Stay up to date with UAE business registration laws and ensure full compliance.
- Attend client and law firm meetings as needed.
- Identify and propose new revenue opportunities related to corporate services.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of UAE experience in Legal or Corporate Services.- Strong knowledge of company formation across onshore, offshore, free zone, and financial zones.
- Excellent project management, planning, and organisational skills.
- Proven ability to provide clear, precise advice to clients and stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
- Proficiency in IT tools required for licensing and compliance processes.
Salary:
AED
14,000 to 16,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
