Job Details:
Role: Manager
- Employment Type: 6 months & extendable contract
- Work Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
- Notice Period: Immediate joiners to a maximum of 15-30 days of notice
Required Experience:
- Professional Certifications: Certifications related to compliance, risk management (e.g., Certified Risk Manager), or specific to the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry (e.g., Certified Cryptocurrency Expert or Certified Blockchain Professional) may be beneficial.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements applicable to virtual assets and service providers. Familiarity with international regulations like FATF (Financial Action Task Force) guidelines, as well as local regulatory laws.
- Financial Compliance: Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), and Know Your Customer (KYC) practices.
- Technical Understanding: Basic to intermediate knowledge of blockchain technology, how virtual assets operate, and the risks associated with these technologies.
REQUIREMENTS
- Legal Knowledge: Understanding of the legal implications and responsibilities related to the licensing and operation of virtual asset service providers.
- Should have a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Regulatory or Compliance Role Experience: Experience working in a regulatory body, financial institution, or legal environment dealing with compliance or regulatory affairs, preferably related to financial services or technology. Supervisory Experience: Prior experience in a supervisory or oversight role would be advantageous to understand how to manage compliance and operational risks.
