JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing our supply chain operations by ensuring efficient and timely logistics services. Key Responsibilities:
1-Coordination & Scheduling: Oversee and coordinate shipments for imports, exports, and cross-trade operations. Ensure timely and accurate scheduling of shipments across all modes (sea, air, land).
2-Customer Communication: Liaise with customers to confirm shipment details, provide updates, and address any issues promptly, ensuring smooth communication and customer satisfaction.
3-Booking Management: Place bookings with feeder and mail lines for international shipments, ensuring all logistics requirements are met.
4-Transportation Arrangement: Organize and arrange transportation for shipments, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
5-Vendor Invoices: Manage and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely processing in accordance with company protocols.
6-Client Invoices: Generate and process client invoices for completed shipments, ensuring all charges are correctly applied.
7-Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements related to shipment handling, transportation, and logistics operations.
Working hours - 8hours 5 days a week
Requirements:
Required Skills and Experience:1-Industry Expertise: Proven experience in freight forwarding, NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), or liner shipping operations. Hands-on experience in all three modes of transportation: sea, air, and land.
2-Logistics Coordination: Strong coordination skills with a focus on shipment booking, freight forwarding, and transportation arrangements.
3-Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
4-Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in invoicing, shipment tracking, and compliance.
Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of safety regulations, import/export requirements, and best practices in logistics operations.
5-Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve logistics issues quickly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
1-UAE Exp 3+ yrs
2-Experience in handling multi-modal transportation (sea, air, and land).
3-Familiarity with international shipping regulations and safety standards.
4-Added Advantage if Candidate have ISO Tank Handling .
Salary:
AED
5,000 to 6,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
