Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize our pharmaceutical logistics operations. This role will involve overseeing the end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring the timely and compliant delivery of pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in logistics, with a strong preference for candidates with international experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate the logistics operations for the transportation, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Ensure adherence to Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to streamline logistics processes and resolve any operational issues.
• Oversee the proper handling of temperature-sensitive products and other specialized pharmaceuticals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all shipments and ensure proper record-keeping for regulatory compliance.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure supply meets demand without overstocking or shortages.
• Resolve any transportation delays or issues in real-time to ensure products reach their destination without disruption.
• Report on key logistics performance metrics and recommend improvements.
• Maintain strong relationships with international logistics partners and suppliers.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.• 3-5 years of experience in logistics, with a focus on pharmaceuticals or healthcare.
• Proven experience in international logistics is preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations (e.g., GDP, GMP, and temperature control requirements).
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with global pharmaceutical supply chains.
• Familiarity with working with international regulatory bodies.
