JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• Develops the related Logistics plan.
• Implements the Logistics policies and procedures, including the warehousing & distribution policies and procedures.
• Supervises and controls, on a daily basis, the distribution activities in all warehouses.
• Monitors and coordinates with the National Sales Department the transfers of merchandise among warehouse locations.
• Ensures the timeliness of distribution and delivery of merchandise in compliance with the standardized procedures e.g. appropriate authorized signatures etc…
• Ensures that no merchandise is received, delivered or returned unless proper documents are issued and approved by concerned staff.
• Coordinates with the National Sales Manager the chronological distribution of all stocks accordingly with the expiry dates.
• Supervises the disposal process of all stocks marked for destruction (damaged or expired) and ensures its regularity.
• Coordinates with the National Sales Department on means to facilitate the distribution process during the delivery of merchandise.
• Coordinates with the Marketing Department regarding any special offers and supervises their preparation.
• Monitors and processes all transactions related to returned merchandise.
• Controls the warehouses’ inventory through supervising a semi-annual and annual physical inventory count.
• Controls the cash van inventories.
• Ensures the proper organization and orderly storage of the merchandise in the warehouses.
• Ensures the cleanness and tidiness of all warehouses.
• Assumes the responsibility of proper usage, service, and maintenance of the Company’s delivery fleet.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor degree.
• Minimum 7-10 years, in similar role.
• Excellent knowledge MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of WMS / SAP / Oracle.
• Excellent planning and organizing skill, prioritizing work schedule as per business requirement.

Preference will be given to the candidates available to start immediately.
