JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Taylor Sterling is searching for an experienced Logistics Project Manager for our client to be based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, they specialise in the construction of major complex projects and are operating in over 50 countries.
• Comply with laws, regulations and standard requirements
• Strategically plan and manage logistics
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full cycle
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers and sub contactors
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
• Process shipments
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
• Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements
REQUIREMENTS
• Relevant Degree
• Ten or more years of experience
• Previous experience with a reputable contractor
• Proven working experience as a logistics manager.
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and detail orientated
• Ability to handle multiple projects.
