Logistics Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for a Logistics Specialist with a positive and proactive mindset who will assure a premium Customer Experience through proper management of delivery and installation.

• You will be responsible for planning and coordinating all activities relating to the Extraction, Delivery and Installation of
• products and accessories, either directly to customers or through wholesalers and distributors.

Job Responsibilities
• Ensure regular and effective communication within the business and externally with 3rd parties.
• Within the internal business, the development of strong relationships with the Sales and Customer Service departments is paramount to your success within this role
• Ensure planning of D&I in accordance with the CPD
• Maintain the ERP system, ensuring alignment between accounting and physical stock, performing variance analyses and periodical stock-counting activities
• Monitor the local Stock and rotation index, ensuring the proper governance of stock management
• Address problems with order flow/shipping delays/quality-control issues, monitor deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain accurate logs of all transportation and inventory
• Check 3PL invoices and accounting, perform cost accounting and variance analyses, periodically audit 3PL delivery and installation and capabilities (skill matrix), coordinating any specific training activities needed to assure that 3PL provide a service in line with brand positioning
• Custom & Duty process management

Requirements:
• Ideally 3-5 years’ relevant experience as a Logistics Specialist and/or working within the Logistics field
• Experience of managing 3PL relationships with respect to contracts, KPI, monthly meeting review and SLA improvement
• Confident communication skills, both in terms of building internal relationships with key teams and in terms of liaising with warehouse management and in/out logistics flow management
• Deep understanding and experience of using SAP and ideally an advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
• Structured and process-oriented, with a high attention to detail and a passion for excellence and execution
• A team player, accountable and proactive as well as demonstrating transparency, openness, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
• Some knowledge of the fitness industry, performance, health and product use would be preferable
• Passion for Sports, Enthusiasm, Humility, Pro-activity, and Ethics complete the desired profile

Salary:
AED 10,000 to 15,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
