JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Handyman to manage the upkeep and repair duties of our company premises. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the order of our facility by doing various odd jobs such as servicing equipment, maintaining the outdoor environment, determining the need for repairs, responding to maintenance requests and so on.

The ideal candidate should be skillful and possess technical knowledge with excellent problem-solving skills. You must be well-organized with strong general repair skills. Being detail-oriented with good physical stamina are greatly valued in this job.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and minor repairs including painting and filling gaps or crevices on walls or sidewalks, carpeting, installations, etc.
• Perform routine landscaping on the grounds.
• Able to repair wooden and aluminum door, Locks etc.
• Repair equipment or appliances as well as help tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs.
• Using mechanical acumen to diagnose machinery and equipment malfunctions.
• Creating and implementing a plan for repairs using various hand and power tools.
• Develop and perform routine preventive maintenance as well as determine and report the need for major repairs.
• Calculate estimates and provide final invoices using financial acumen.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous work experience as a Handyman or a similar role.
• Conversant with hardware tools and electrical equipment.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems.
• Painting Experience
• Experience in Minor woodwork jobs
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent
