JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Duties & responsibilities include;

* Responsible for the safe and efficient design, procurement, installation and, maintenance activities.
* Ensuring that all engineering operations are carried out in accordance with safe working systems.
* Management of the process safety management system on a day-to-day basis, including maintenance of the required procedures.
* Responsible for management of the Planned, preventative and routine maintenance duties, including breakdowns.
* Coordinate maintenance resources to make sure operations are running effectively to plan
* Ensure that projects are completed within the determined time frame, within the constraints of the budget, and with sufficient staffing.
* Train and supervise employees of the maintenance department
* Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work
* Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair
* Implement workplace safety policies and standards
* Identify areas for improvement and assign workers to take care of issues
* Develop maintenance schedules and enforce them among maintenance staff
* Introduce project maintenance and planning systems and KPIs in particular those which monitor component life cost and MTTR and MTBF.
* Respond to emergency calls for maintenance
* Manage the set up and take down of different events
* Perform troubleshooting to solve repair issues
* Communicate plans for upper level improvements to maintenance worker staff
* Contact and schedule resources and extra contractor help as needed
* Delegate tasks to meet maintenance schedule and satisfy employer needs
* Review and implement common and improved maintenance policies across all departments.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate would have;

* Good experience in maintenance of facilities and mechanical systems.
* Ability to create a maintenance schedule and troubleshoot as required.
* Knowledge of structures or production operations to be maintained.
* Knowledge of maintenance procedures and systems to be maintained.
* 5 yeas Management experience.
* 10 years Experience in Maintenance at a minimum.
* 5 years Project management experience would be beneficial.
