JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- Responsible for the overall supervision of maintenance personnel;
- Responsible for identifying and providing spare parts for the process equipment as considered essential to enable reduction in process equipment and services down time due to breakdown;
- Responsible for introducing planned maintenance programs and schedules based on past performance / machinery manufacturer recommendations as required to ensure that all equipment and services function smoothly and efficiently to meet the production requirements;
- Responsible for checking calibration and accuracy of certain measuring and testing devices as required by procedures etc.
- Responsible for allocating maintenance personnel to facilitate repairs / maintenance upon receipt of intimation for maintenance from cell leaders / shop floor supervisors;
- Responsible for prioritizing of maintenance work orders / requests;
- Responsible for and documenting maintenance work performed thus maintaining maintenance history etc for respective machines;
- To ensure that the required technical data for the process equipment and services are readily available for reference in the event of breakdown or malfunction and to ensure that adequate training is imparted for the maintenance personnel to provide effective maintenance for all process equipment and services.
- Responsible for the overall supervision and leading the maintenance department/team;
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree / Diploma in relevant field of Engineering from a recognized body;
- Have minimum 8 years experience in a supervisory role or 5 years hands on experience on the CNC machines viz. Fanuc, Heidanhein and G&L Numeripath CNC systems etc;
- Must have working knowledge of Industrial Electrical / Electronics equipments such as overhead cranes, air compressors, furnaces and all other conventional machinery, Industrial robots, TIG / Argon welding & HVOF (TAFA) machines.
- Must have working knowledge in Mechanical, Hydraulic & Pneumatic fields;
- Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for complete plant and equipment;
- Liaise and correspond independently with suppliers for spares inventory / stock;
- Handle troubleshooting and repair AC & DC variable speed motors, drives & inverter units.
- Responsible for the overall supervision and leading the maintenance department/team;
