JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Managerial Role:
- Guidance and Support: Provide management and guidance to direct reports, and provide them with the necessary support for achieving their objectives and performing their delegated responsibilities.
- Employee Development: Ensure the ongoing development of the section’s employees, and guide the developmental activities of direct reports.
- HR Requirements: Identify the section’s human resources requirements and provide recommendations on levels of rewards, promotions, transfers and career progressions for the department’s employees.
- Performance Management: Lead performance planning and performance evaluations of direct reports, and recommend linkages of performance evaluation results with DTCM’s reward and development programs in line with established policies and procedures.
- Section Operational Needs: Ensure that all technology, procurement, and other administrative needs of the section are identified, offered and maintained in a manner that facilitates day to day operations and supports the achievement of the section’s goals.

Functional Role:

Strategy and Business plans:
- Contribute to the development and implementation strategic alliance strategy focused on achieving digital brand and campaign amplification across the 3rd party ecosystem.

Alliances and Promotions:
- Identify and drive digital partnership opportunities within travel industry key players such as Expedia, TripAdvisor, Kayak and global/regional and local publishers such as BBC, New York Times, National Geographic, MSN, CNN to develop Dubai’s brand amplification of our campaigns & programs in the 3rd party space
- Collaborate with DFRE Strategic Alliances, Hotels, Airlines and redemption services and lead direction of DCTCM’s Dubai’s pillars, deals and promotion to drive a) exclusives packages to improve consideration and b) offers to drive economical spent during stay.
- Create value proposition and positioning of promotions, integrate into digital marketing calendar as and drive distribution through own channels and 3rd party ecosystem including media partners,

Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with sponsors and partners in addition to foster open, communication and partnerships;
- Establish positive and productive relationships with the teams and partners,
- Working collaboratively to access pertinent information and potential leads;

Reporting:
- Analyze values and results of alliances; prepare ad-hoc and periodic reports to represent so after each and every agreement,

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge:
- Strong Knowledge of local regulatory environment;
- Well versed in establishing successful corporate alliances strategic for a large-sized corporation or festival / event/ organization;
- Knowledge of retail and tourism sector.
