Manager - Business Process SME - Strategy & Transformation - UAE

Role Profile:

A key contributor to the process and solution design as well as delivery who uses their knowledge of business processes to drive positive change to ways of working which ultimately benefit our Customers and Business teams

The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:

- Participate in Design Workshops ensuring focused and specific to the business requirements aligned to adoption of new processes and best practice
- Responsible for participating in design of process and solutions across whole modules or domains, representing either specific divisions or brand/business models Participates in workshops to identify Best practice and continuous improvement in "to be" state
- Interrogate and understand out of the box functionality against existing processes and pain points to adopt standard out of the box functionality.
- Input into the customer journey capture / development of "as is" / "to be" processes under guidance of the BPO and in conjunction with Business Analyst & superusers
- Use knowledge of "as is" and "to be" to identify change in user role profiling and determining future roles
- Review, identify and confirm business test threads and test cases for user acceptance testing , validate against process maps
- Validate UAT testing against threads and test cases to ensure the Functional "to be" processes are being delivered against, highlight gaps and/or defect
- Responsible for ensuring "to be" processes are incorporated into the training materials and sign off of same
- Responsible for surfacing pain points or process enhancement during the initiation and design phases based on extensive internal or external knowledge
- Responsible for definition of Business Cutover Activities and Plans for their Pillar/Project including identification of "First Of's" relating to new processes and functionality, collaborate with the Cutover Lead
- Responsible to clarify and amend business processes post implementation and identify process "re-engineering" requirement
- Responsible for ensuring new or additional requirements are captured on the Pillar "backlog"
- Responsible to Identify changes against current ways of working to inform the impact analysis and training needs analysis
- Responsible for execution of select "First of's" to support a successful Go Live
- Responsible for first line support during the Hypercare period to drive adoption, support change management and deliver effective "Go Lives"

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge:
- Broad and deep functional knowledge within respective pillar

Experience:
- +7 years experienced in a relevant discipline (relevant to the Pillar and/or Portfolio)
- A current Leader or Manager (or ready now in a talent pool), a recognized expert in their field with deep and broad functional knowledge
- Demonstrable experience of key end to end processes and decision making in the relevant disciplines
- Experience of transformation programmes or change management an advantage

Skills:
- A strong communicator, clearly able to articulate ideas and concepts
- Able to communicate in a way that builds trust and confidence amongst peers and senior stakeholders
- Demonstrable ability and experience of managing and influencing in a matrix structure, upwards, across and downwards
- Able to challenge and question in a constructive way
- A change advocate, open to, and a champion of, new ideas, able to demonstrate experience of challenging the status quo, ask why not and not why
- Confident and able to present to mixed stakeholders including senior leaders to deliver key messages and support change management
- Experience of training to embed concept and functional processes in their current or previous roles
- Good customer service skills to engage and interact with key stakeholders and end users confidently and articulately
- Able to be both detailed in their relevant discipline and show an understanding of wider or macro concepts, "big picture" thinking
